I was a big fan of the first Modern Warfare, I think we all were. Well leading up to the sequel, Modern Warfare 2 there was a ton of hype for this game, and it lived up to everything. MW2 got rave reviews and sold over 25 million copies surpassing even the previous Call of Duty games. 

As most would expect coming into this game the single player was very good, with very high production values that all the other Call of Duty games have had. Most of the campaign is very intense with over the top action, but also there are segments that require a bit more stealth to get through.

The regular campaign was great and all but I really loved the Spec Ops mode in this game, basically it's separate missions meant to be played co-op. These missions just had so much variation and some really unique setups which made for some really cool teamwork.

Of course if your like me then you ultimately play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for the competitive multiplayer. Really MW2 follows the great formula set by Call of Duty 4 a couple years earlier. This game plays very similar to that game, so if you played that game you know what to expect. However, this time around there are even more perks, guns, and kill streaks to use. Which is really the core of the multiplayer setup, it can be so addicting unlocking more and more weapons, and then building your perfect classes for doing battle. 

Basically if you really enjoy fast past online shooter you will love this game, but if you were not a fan of the earlier two Call of Duty you will probably not like this game as it's very similar, but I definitely recommend this game to everyone.
